Worth every last yen...
EDIT: You may want to turn the volume down.

They'd be nice... if you could have the car that they go on... a JDM Z20 Toyota Soarer. Basically a luxury 2-door near-lux GT Coupe version of the A70 Supra fastback, and the car that AE86 2-door Levin really wishes it was...
later generation Z30 Soarer would be sold in the US as Lexus SC.
Bring A Trailer recently had one listed... and estimated it to be one of approximately 4 known to be in North America.

They also made 500 special edition 3.0GTs with a power folding hardtop. The Aerocabin.
They were made in April 1989...meaning they just became eligible to import this month...

Also, that BaT post was way, way off. I can think of about 8 or 10 that I know of in the US, and I know of another half dozen coming here soon.

Doesn't really refute the main idea that there aren't but a very few of these cars in north america to be seen, let alone owned. single or low double digit numbers are pretty much next to nonexistent. They seem like a very nice car, though, but then so do A70 Supras, which are official, and exist in much more significant numbers on this side of the globe.

Oh, I agree they're rare, but they're also available...
All you need is the time, money, and a big boat. This one is the Aniara:
Or just buy one from a US importer...the ones that are coming are going to be for sale.
